Pauline E. (Martin) Grace

Dalton, N.H. — Pauline E. (Martin) Grace, 90, of Ridge View Terrace, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at her home while surrounded by family and friends.

She was born on June 5, 1923, the daughter of Ray Jennings and Fannie B. (Rand) Martin. Pauline was a native of Danbury, N.H. and lived there all of her life until moving closer to her family in 2009.

She graduated from Canaan, N.H. High School. She worked at many places throughout the years including the Danbury Store, Ragged Mountain and Camp Kenwood. She had been a parttime clerk for the U.S. Post Office for 25 years in Grafton and Danbury retiring in 1999.

Pauline was a member of the Blazing Star Grange. Her hobbies included doing embroidery work, reading and watching television.

Her husband, Elmer H. Grace, died in 1999. She was also predeceased by a brother, Charles Martin and a sister, Ralene Currier. Members of her family surviving include two sons, Terry Hines and his wife, Beverly of Whitefield, N.H. and Tracey Hines of Errol, N.H. and his friend, JoAnn Sampson of Whitefield; five grandchildren, Robin, Sarah, David, Tammy and April; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Chester Martin of Danbury; nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, N.H. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at 1 p.m. in Riverdale Cemetery, Danbury.
