Robert H. Wilson
Manchester, N.H. — Robert H. Wilson, died on Wednesday, August 7, 2013.
Bob was born on Nov. 18, 1926, in Lebanon, N.H., the son of the late Hilary and Almeda (Hazen) Wilson. He was raised and educated in Enfield, N.H.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard aboard the U.S. Tidewater during World War II. Following his discharge from the Coast Guard, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served from 1945 to 1950.
Robert worked for many years as a knitter at Pandora Industries. Later he worked at Dena’s Natural Way on Elm Street, preparing meals.
He enjoyed swimming and softball, and loved gardening.
Robert was a consummate caregiver.
Family members include his daughter, Joyce Mayer, of Manchester; grandson, David Wilson and his wife, Melissa; three great-grandchildren, Jayme, Alexia and Matthew; and dear friend Sally Ryan.
He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Pauline G. (Rivard) Wilson, on Nov. 1, 2010.
