Letter: With the NRA’s Permission

To the Editor,

Wasn’t it nice of the National Rifle Association to allow our senators to vote for the new director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF Director Confirmed After Drama,” Aug. 1) by not “scoring” them on how they vote? Of course, I do not remember voting for the NRA or otherwise electing NRA officials to govern my country.
