West Lebanon N.H. — Ingrid Neuwirt of 365 N. Main St. died Sunday, June 9, 2013.
Ingrid was born in Germany on Sept. 10, 1940, the daughter of Amalie and Georg von Bloh. She moved to New York City in 1958 and worked as a secretary and a nanny. She married Michael Neuwirt in 1964 and then they moved to New Jersey in 1965 and then to New Hampshire in 1972. She enjoyed traveling, various crafts, and the outdoors.
She was a woman of strong faith having been one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for many years.
Ingrid is survived by her two sons, Alex Neuwirt, of Newbury, N.H., George Neuwirt and his wife, Susan, of Sunapee, N.H., and her daughter, Vera Altmannsberger and her husband, Darryl, of Hopkinton, N.H. She also had four grandchildren, Savannah, Nicholas, Solomon and Ryan. Much gratitude goes to the amazing staff in the ICU at DHMC for their efforts to help our dear friend, mother and grandmother. She passed away in peace with her family by her side.
Ingrid was dearly loved by both friends and family and will be sorely missed. A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 15, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 57 Daisy Hill Rd. Lebanon, N.H.
