Robert W. “Rob” Curtis, III
Canaan, N.H. — Robert W. “Rob” Curtis, III, formerly of Newport, N.H., died from injuries resulting from a motorcycle accident in Center Harbor, Sunday evening, June 9, 2013.
Rob was born in Claremont, N.H., on April 23, 1986, son of Brenda (Clement) and Robert Curtis, Jr. He was raised and educated in Newport graduating from Newport High School in the Class of 2004. He has been employed as a process support technician at Hypertherm in Lebanon, N.H. and has been with the company for about seven years. Rob loved the outdoors whether it was hunting, hiking, fishing, snowshoeing or riding his bike. He enjoyed playing electric guitar and recently purchased a new acoustic one. Rob was a loving and devoted son and brother. He loved his new little niece Ashlynn very much. Rob always tried to make people laugh and wanted to make his family and friends happy.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda Curtis of Guild, his father, Bob Curtis, Jr., and his fiancée, Deb Clements of Canaan and her children, Nicole and Amanda Garvey; his maternal grandmother, Clara Clement of Unity, his paternal grandfather, Robert Curtis, Sr. of Newport; his sister, Jessica Curtis and her fiancé, Jonathan Thibodeau, of Lebanon; his aunts, Barbara Johnson and her husband, Tom, of Unity, Jill Curtis, of Lebanon; his cousin, Ashley Marcotte of Nevada; his niece, Ashlynn; and his cat “Cola”.
A celebration of Rob’s life for family and friends will be planned for a later date on Mt. Cardigan.
