Evelyn A. Brewer
Enfield, N.H. — Evelyn A. Brewer a long-time resident of Enfield went to be with The Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
She was born in Laconia N.H. on July 10, 1923, to James L. Ryan and Evelyn (Filgate) Ryan, and was raised by John and Mary Abbott in Laconia. In 1941, she married Orman Brewer and moved to Claremont, N.H. After being widowed in 1957, Evelyn moved to Lebanon and worked at Mary Hitchcock Hospital for 24 years, retiring in 1983.
She was also predeceased by her foster parents, twin brother, Charles, brother, Lawrence and daughter, Donna Kingsbury.
She is survived by her special friend, Phyllis Whitmore; her son, Jon R. Brewer; daughter-in-law, Elaine of Sarasota, Fla.; five granddaughters, Beth Perry of Brandon, Vt., Laurie Cook, Karen Bell and Katie Reveglia, Sarasota, Fla., Ann Dewey and her husband, Michael of Unity, N.H.; and four great-grandchildren, Christopher Perry, and Megan Perry Rachel Dewey, Jeremy Dewey; and son-in-law, Jonathan Kingsbury of Springfield, Vt.
