Monica Lucille (Lucy) Houle
Unity, N.H. — Monica Lucille (Lucy) Houle, 62, of Unity, born July 12, 1950, in Manchester, N.H., died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in White River Jct., Vt.
Ms. Houle was a graduate of Immaculata High School in Manchester and had attained a Bachelors & Masters Degree in Developmental Disabilities from St. Louis University, St. Louis, Mo. Ms. Houle was disabled while serving in the US ARMY, during the Cold War period of the late 1970’s. She was medically retired from the Army, and was a disabled veteran undergoing care at the VA Hospital in White River Jct.
Ms. Houle is survived by her husband, David Lee Wells of Unity, N.H. They were married for 35 years. Ms. Houle is also survived by her brother, Colonel George Houle, USMC (Ret) of North Carolina; her sister and brother-in-law, Colette & Dennis Thompson of Mesa, Ariz.; her brother, William (Bill) Houle of Manchester, N.H.; and her brother and sister-in-law, Roland Houle and Kathleen O’Connor Houle, both of Manchester.
Ms. Houle enjoyed gardening and working in the yard, as much as she could. She was greatly loved by everyone who knew her.

Per her wish, Ms. Houle’s remains will be cremated. No service is planned, and in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity.
