Jon Allen Barnaby
Tunbridge, Vt. — Jon Allen Barnaby, 46 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his home in Tunbridge.
He was born July 27, 1966 in Randolph, Vt., the son of Caroline (Fisk) Barnaby and Richard Barnaby, Sr. He attended school in Tunbridge and later South Royalton High School where he graduated in 1984. Jon worked many years at the Lebanon Paint & Decorating Store in Lebanon, N.H. He also owned and operated a small business of Venetian blind and shade installations.
Jon enjoyed hunting, racing, building and carpentry, camp fires, parties, cooking and spending time with his friends and dogs.
He is survived by his mother, Caroline Barnaby; four brothers, Richard Barnaby and his wife, Lorraine, Michael Barnaby, Steven Barnaby and his wife, Jean and Tim Barnaby and his wife, Shelley; four step-children, Mark Knapp, Tiffany Knapp, Nikki Labounty and Holly Labounty; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Barnaby Sr. on Nov. 17, 2006.
There will be no public calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Tunbridge Congregational Church in Tunbridge. The burial will be held at the Spring Road Cemetery in Tunbridge.
