Newport, N.H. — Linda Deome, 70, of Memorial Drive in Claremont, N.H. was called home on Sunday, March 10, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at Woodlawn Care Center in Newport. She was born in Windsor, Vt. on Aug. 25, 1942, the daughter of Lester and Barbara (Webster) Thurlow and had been a lifetime area resident.
She was a graduate of Hartford High School, Class of 1961. Linda was a member of the Women of the Moose, Lodge 1801 in Claremont, N.H. She enjoyed cooking, crafting, sharing memories, her cats and going to camp, but above all, she cherished her grandchildren.
Members of her family include, her husband, Lawrence F. Deome, Claremont, N.H., whom she married on June 17, 1961; a son, Steven L. Deome, two daughters, Debra Ferland and Donna Boucher, all of Claremont; two grandchildren, Ryan Pinsoneault, Sara Pinsoneault; a great-grandson, Wyatt Fry; a sister, Susan Thurlow, Turners Falls, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 13 at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan Street, Claremont. Graveside committal services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am until the time of services.
