Nina Grace Dimick
Woodstock, Vt. — Nina Grace Dimick, born Sept. 3, 1949, of Woodstock, Vt., passed abruptly on March 7, 2013. She is survived by her oldest sibling, Kathy Wendling; daughter Janet Dimick; three grandchildren, Tabetha, Angela and Caeleb; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded by her parents, Howard and Marion (Dike) Dimick; brothers Malcolm, David and Marshal; sister Louise Flower; and son Stephen.
She was a devoted daughter, caring sister, loving mother, dedicated grandmother, special aunt, beloved cousin, and heartfelt friend and colleague to many. She selflessly put community and country first while never tiring in her pursuit of knowledge. Nina was a constant at Burlington Coat Factory for 23-plus years, and a pillar in The Ladies Auxiliary to The Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Vermont for 35-plus years.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock, Vt. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, at 1 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Chapel in Woodstock, Vt. Burial will be in the Taftsville cemetery at a later date.
