Letter: Terrible Place to Watch Movies

To the Editor:

Barbara Jones of Enfield is correct (“Bring Movies Back to Spaulding,” Feb. 21). The Loew Auditorium at the Black Family Visual Arts building is totally unsuited to showing films to a mature audience. I have suffered through several performances of the Metropolitan Opera in HD. The seats are narrow and short and the knee room is almost nonexistent. I arrive an hour early so I can get a seat where I can both see the screen without tilting my head up at an extreme angle and have room for my knees.

Back to Spaulding!

To the Editor: I agree with recent letters about the lack of comfort at the Loew Auditorium in comparison to the overall comfort at Spaulding Auditorium.
