Margaret R. Radasch

Exeter, New Hampshire — Margaret R. Radasch, 98 (formerly of New London, New Hampshire) died at Langdon Place of Exeter N.H., on January 30, 2013.

Mrs. Radasch was born in Quincy, Illinois. The daughter of George Daniel and Clara (Sprick) Roth. She graduated from Stephens College in 1933. Received her BJ from University of Missouri in 1935 and MA from Columbia University in 1938.

She was a member of Delta Gamma and Gamma Alpha Chi. Her first employment was teaching at the Karl C. Parrish School in Barranquilla, Colombia, South America and she subsequently taught at East Hills School, Roslyn, New York and Locke School, Arlington, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Radasch was a volunteer at the New London, New Hampshire Elementary School for seven years and a long time volunteer at Tracy Memorial Library. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and had served on the Alter Guild.

She is survived by her son, Peter A. Radasch of FT. Myers; Florida, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Donald Radasch of New London and a son Michael A. Radasch of Somerville, Massachusetts.

In accordance with Mrs. Radasch’s wishes, no formal services will be held and she has requested that her body be donated to the Dartmouth Medical School. Private services will be held at a later date.
