Beatrice Bradley Revenaugh

Norwich, Vt. — Beatrice Bradley Revenaugh, 94, of Norwich, passed away Friday evening, Jan. 25, 2013, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, N.H. She was a longtime resident of Corinth, N.Y. and in later years, Utica, N.Y.

The daughter of Dutchere and Alexina (Legault) LaValley, Bea was born August 16, 1918, in Tupper Lake, N.Y. She married Archie Bradley in 1935. He predeceased her as did all of her eight siblings.

Bea was the “social butterfly” of the family, an outgoing, loving and generous soul who genuinely enjoyed people and woke up with an optimistic attitude each day. She made friends easily wherever she went. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and everyone’s favorite Aunt Bea.

Beatrice is survived by her three children and their spouses, Cheryl and Charlie Simpson of Middletown, N.Y., Archie and Beth Bradley of Hamburgh, N.Y., and Jan and Lee Winslow, with whom she resided most recently, in Norwich. Beatrice had nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.

There will be a mass at Saint Denis in Hanover, N.H. at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, and a memorial mass, later in the spring, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Corinth, N.Y. Bea treasured her friendships, some of which spanned over 85 years with the Eannace family of Utica, N.Y., and more recent ones over coffee at the Lebanon Co-op or on her way to the pool at the River Valley Club. We are indebted to those at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where Bea received three years of wonderful medical care both during her cancer treatments and most recent hospital stay.
