Phyllis B. Walsh
Lebanon, N.H. — Phyllis B. Walsh, 88, died peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Lebanon Center Genesis with her family at her side.
She was born Jan. 22, 1925, in Franklin, N.H. a daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Schroeder) Beaupre. Growing up Phyllis lived in Franklin and South Bend, Ind. before moving to Lebanon in 1943. She often said this is where her life began, where she met her beloved Pat and his family as well as many other lifelong friends. It is in Lebanon that she built her life. Phyllis graduated from Lebanon High School in 1943 and over the years worked at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital and Flanders & Patch Motor Sales.
“Skip,” as she was lovingly known by her family and friends, was always known to open her heart and home to others. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing and playing golf. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and could often be seen at her grandkids sporting events. Phyllis was also a member of Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon.
She was predeceased by her husband Pat in 1984.
Skip is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Kathleen Walsh Estes and Keith of Lebanon and Kellie Hines and Rich of Manchester, N.H.; five grandchildren, Patrick, Ryan and Colin Hines and Bryn and Braeden Estes; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Ricker Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Sacred Heart Church at 11 a.m. with burial following in the Valley Cemetery in Lebanon.
