Madeline Belle Bullard
Woodsville, N.H. — Madeline Belle Bullard, 89, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, N.H.
She was born in Haverhill, N.H., Oct. 16, 1923, a daughter of William and Mary (Pike) Powers. Madeline was a graduate of Woodsville High School Class of 1941. A lifelong area resident, Madeline worked at the Grafton County Home first in the kitchen and later as a nursing aide and retired after 30 years in 2003
Madeline loved being with her family and was a devoted grandmother to her two grandchildren, Carol and Jason, and to her three great grandchildren, Collin, Griffin, and Maya.
Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Willard Bullard on Dec. 23, 1976, her son Isaac Darling in 1966, her sister Jessie Kendall, and her brother William Powers.
Survivors include her two daughters, Susan Leonard and husband, Dana of Glencliff, N.H., and Vicki Darling of Reno, Nev.; two grandchildren, Carol Paronto and husband, Brad of Manchester, N.H., and Jason Leonard of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and three great-grandchildren, Collin, Griffin, and Maya Litke all of Southington, Conn.; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Woodsville.
