Vita Mark Stollerman
Hanover, N.H. — Vita Mark Stollerman died at her retirement home, “The Greens at Hanover” on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Feb.15, 1924 and attended Brooklyn College. She and her late husband, Leo Mark, moved to Hanover in 1971. Leo Mark died in 1992 and Vita then married Dr. Gene Stollerman in 1997. Vita worked at Dartmouth College in the dean of freshman’s office, and later as secretary to the vice president of the AMCA International Corporaton. She served as an active volunteer at the Alice Peck Day Hospital, the Upper Valley Hostel, the Parkinson Support Group of the Hitchcock Medical Center, and other organizations. Her interment took place on Nov. 30 in Trenton, N.J. at her father’s family’s cemetery. She is survived by her husband; Gene Stollerman, her children; Rebecca Mark and Dr. Leonard Mark and his wife, Lynn, and by her grandchildren; Charles Pineles Mark and his wife, Erika, Jeremy Mark, and Dr. David Ganetzky Mark and his wife, Rebecca. A memorial service will be held for Vita in Hanover at 3 p.m., on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 23, 2012 at the Roth Center, 5 Occom Ridge, Hanover.
