Glenn H. Burch
Bethel, Vt. — Glenn H. Burch, 86, of Bethel, died Friday morning, Nov. 30, 2012 at Springfield Health & Rehab in Springfield, Vt.
He was born June 21, 1926 in Pomfret, Vt., the son of Edward W. and Catherine (Tullar) Burch. He was raised in Pomfret and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Glenn was married to Anita Peoples in West Hartland, Vt. on August 15, 1953. They moved to Bethel in 1961. He had been a farmer, then had worked at Tip Top Bakery in White River Junction, Woodstock Soapstone, then Advanced Animations. In retirement he did lawncare for others, and enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the American Legion, the Randolph Baptist Fellowship and was past president of the Foster Parents Association.
Survivors include his wife; Anita Burch of Putney; son, Bradford Burch and his wife, Pam of Burns, Wyo.; daughter, Jacquelynn Chechile and her husband, Alan of Putney; foster daughter Sally Grazzioso of Maine; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his eight siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at the Randolph Baptist Fellowship, with Rev. George Sweet, officiating. Burial will be at the Methodist Cemetery in Barnard.
