Letter: An Unexpected Delivery
To the Editor:
Two feet of snow, roads too dangerous to travel, winds blowing like crazy — no chance to get my newspaper delivered today, right? Wrong! Just now, at noon, a knock on my door: “I didn’t want your paper to get buried in the snow,” said the burly man who had to walk through the deep snow from the road to our house. That’s service! And it’s super nice. Thank you, Jake, for being so thoughtful and going out of your way — literally. A beautiful act of unexpected kindness made my snowbound day so much brighter.
