Martin Andre Landry
Casselberry, Fla. — Martin Andre Landry died peacefully at his home in Casselberry, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He was a Central Florida surveyor for more than 30 years, which made rides throughout the area a welcome history lesson for his lucky passengers. Son of New England transplants, Martin A. Landry and Evelyn F. (Adams) Landry, both deceased, he was born in Berlin, N.H., July 23, 1951. Growing up, Marty lived in Gorham, N.H., Bartlett, N.H., and Thetford, Vt., and briefly attended Thetford Academy. He graduated in 1969 from Kennett High School in Conway, N.H. Marty (Doonie to his family), enjoyed rebuilding motorcycles and fishing on the Wekiva River.
He is survived by daughters, Jennifer Landry of Bartlett, N.H., Robin Landry of Philadelphia, Pa.; grandsons, Zachary and Tyler Beach; sisters, Diane (Landry) Taylor of Lewisville, N.C., and Linda R. Baldwin of Apopka, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his brother, David L. Baldwin.
There are no local services planned at this time. A graveside bawlfest will be held in Norwich, Vt., after the spring thaw.
