Geraldine Fay Moulton
Grantham, N.H. — Geraldine Fay Moulton, 88, of North Grantham, passed away at the New London Hospital Wednesday Morning, Feb. 26, 2014.
Gerry was born in Newport, N.H. on Dec. 2, 1925, daughter to the late Leslie and Helen (LaFountain) Moulton. She was raised and educated in Campton, N.H. graduating from Plymouth High with the Class of 1943. She worked at Draper Corporation in Beebe River, N.H., then as a hairdresser for many years and later at Timken Aerospace where she retired. Gerry was a lifelong member of the National Grange. She was one of the original members of the Grantham Ladies Aid Society and a pillar of the Grantham United Methodist Church. She was an independent woman and fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She had a sharp wit and a deft hand with a paintbrush. She loved sitting out on the porch of her little green house and sharing an ice cream with her canine companion, Pierre.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law, Alden “Chick” Pillsbury and his wife, Mary of Grantham; nieces and nephews: Ellen Pillsbury of Grantham and her daughters, Devon and Lana LaBelle, Bernard and Lee Moulton of Texas and their daughters, Jenni and Kathy, John and Kyong Moulton of Fla., Mickey and Tan Pillsbury of Lempster and their sons, Palmer and Josh, Kristy and Nate Heath of Springfield and their three daughters, Megan, Emily and Molly, Tim Pillsbury and his daughter, Ella Ray of Slidell, La., and Kevin and Angel Barton and their daughter, Nicole of Grantham.
She was predeceased by: her identical twin sister, Earline Ray Pillsbury, and her brother, Bernard Moulton.
Services will be held in May at the Grantham Methodist Church and burial at Springdale Cemetery. There will be no calling hours at this time.
