Mary Currier Stevens
Amarillo, Texas — Mary Currier Stevens, 64, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at Amarillo Center for Skilled Care.
Mary was born Aug. 1, 1949, in Hanover, N.H., the daughter of Frank and Grace (Austin) Currier. She moved to Texas at 16 and her heart became true to the Texas Panhandle. Mary loved crafts and cooking, and loved sharing both with friends and family. She was dedicated, hard working, and loyal to those who entered her life.
She is survived by her brother, Frank Currier and his wife, Dolly of New Hampshire; daughter, Nicki Walker of New Hampshire, daughter, Victoria George and her husband, James of Indiana; son, John Tunstall and his wife, Autumn, daughter, Kathi Donley, daughter, Dedra Stevens and fiance, Kevin Badinskas, and daughter, Dana Stevens and fiance, Brandon Akin, all of Texas; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents and her grandson, Hunter Gage Badinskas.
Per Mary’s request, no services will be held. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that any memorial donations be given to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 6600 Killgore Dr. #110, Amarillo, TX 79106, as they were wonderful in making Mary’s last days peaceful.
