Letter: The Bully of New Jersey
To the Editor:
I have been fascinated by the political scandal in New Jersey. Revenge is an interesting game, and one at which bullies are successful. Gov. Chris Christie has denied being a bully, though his past actions and statements might suggest otherwise. As someone who grew up being bullied, I know it is easy for a bully to deny complicity, and there is no one willing to step up and defend the bullied. In the situation in New Jersey, however, it is clear that if Gov. Christie is not the bully, he has created an administration that believes strongly in the bullying credo, “My way or the highway.” Closed!
