Sharon Bus Routes
On Aug. 29, all parents will be mailed a revised bus route schedule that will have significant changes to Routes 2 and 3 because of the bridge work that is being done for the months of September, October and November.
The following are Sharon bus routes for the first three days of the 2008-09 school year. Please check with your neighbors to see where the bus will be stopping along these routes. The buses only make stops which are determined to be safe. The two evening runs leave the school at 2:25 and then at 3:20. The early morning bus runs are the second to leave in the afternoon. The school provides supervision until the last buses leave. Secondary students who are Sharon residents are provided with transportation to Hartford, South Royalton and the Sharon Academy middle school.
When Sharon cancels school, we do not provide transportation for students going to vocational programs or other schools that may be open.
Bus No. 1
High Lake Road, turnaround, 6:42; Beaver Meadow Road, 6:44 - 7; Route 132, 7 - 7:04; arrive at Sharon School 7:04. Leave Sharon School to go to Hartford, 7:07; Route 14 south to Hartford High and Middle Schools, 7:07 - 7:30; arrive at Hartford High School, 7:32; arrive at Hartford Middle School, 7:35; Route 14 north to Sharon town line 7:50; arrive Sharon School, 8:03.
Bus No. 2
Fay Brook Road, 6:20 - 6:31; Howe Hill, 6:40 - 6:49; Moore Road, 6:49 - 6:59; arrive Sharon School by 7:05. Leave Sharon School to go to South Royalton School, 7:07; Route 14 to River Road, 7:13; Broad Brook Road, 7:16 - 7:17; Harlow (Upper Broad Brook Road), 7:24; Broad Brook Road; arrive South Royalton School, 7:34; River Road returning to Sharon School, 7:40 - 7:45; arrive Sharon School, 7:48. Leave Sharon School, 7:49; Quimby Mountain Road, 7:54 - 8:03; arrive Sharon School, 8:05.

Route 14, 6:42 - 6:43; White Brook Road, 6:45 - 6:49; arrive Sharon School, 6:54. Leave Sharon School, 6:56; Downer Forest Road, 7:03 - 7:19; Dyer Road, 7:23; Carpenter Road, 7:25 - 7:27; arrive Sharon School, 7:30.
