Rivendell Bus Routes
Note: All routes and times subject to change. If the routes take too long, we may have to set up cluster stops. Buses are equipped with seatbelts and video cameras.
Morning Routes
Bus No. 1 — Vershire East/West Run: Starts at Ward's Daycare at 7:05; moves east on Route 113; Vershire Center at 7:15; Eagle Hollow at 7:20; Beaver Meadow at 7:24; arrives at Westshire at 7:30 to drop off and pick up; departs for Rivendell Academy, arriving at 7:45.
Bus No. 2 — Vershire North/South Run: Starts at 7 and turns left on Town Center Road; stops at Reed Road, Mountain School/Taylor Valley, Chamberlin Hill, Willey/stop, before hill, Class Road, South Vershire Road, Ayers Road; end of the dirt road, takes a left onto Parker Road at approximately 7:20; Griffith drive, turns around at Chamberlin Hill, Miller Pond Road, Beanville; back at Westshire at 7:35; picks up children from Bus No. 3 and departs for Rivendell Academy at 7:40, arriving at 8.
Bus No. 3 — West Fairlee Run: Starts at 6:40 consolidated stop at Jennings Hill and Middlebrook Road (this bus no longer goes to turnaround) with stops at Valenti's, Blake's, Wild Hill, Marsh Hill, 3027 Middlebrook, NAPA sign; 6:56 at Stever Farm, then 1163 Middlebrook Road; turns left on Route 244 and proceeds to top of Bloodbrook Road and turns around; stops at Fahy at 7:09; proceeds to Burgess, then 673 West Fairlee Road at 7:19; stops at George's Way, Heatherfield Road, Stevens Road; arrives at Westshire Elementary at 7:25.
Bus No. 4 — Fairlee 244 Run: Starts at Bloodbrook Road at 7:05; proceeds to 1949 Route 244, Hillside Drive, 1425 Route 244, 1325 Route 244, gray house on Bragg Hill, 4291 Bragg Hill; Valley View at 7:20, red house on Route 5 South, Birch Meadow Road, Silver Maple Lodge; arrives at Samuel Morey at 7:30; proceeds to front of Fairlee Feed Store; to Academy at 7:40.
Bus No. 5 — Fairlee Run: Starts at 7 at Alan Road, 4124 Route 5, Mountain Road, 1538 Route 5, 1455 Route 5, across from Wells River Savings Bank on Route 5; Pike's on Terry Hill at 7:10, Brackett Road, brown house on Terry Hill, 1570 Terry Hill (turn around); tan house after Aloha Inn at 7:32, around lake to Pratt's and Ameden's; Bald Top Road at 7:40; Fairview Square at 7:42; then to Samuel Morey; proceeds to Academy arriving at 7:55.
Bus No. 6 — Orford/Warren Run: Starts at Warren Village at 7; picks up riders along Route 25, Route 25A, Mt. Cube, Dame Hill Road; arrives at Rivendell Academy at 7:45; then proceeds to Samuel Morey.
Bus No. 7 — Route 10 Run: Begins at upper pick-up on Grimes Hill Road at 7:20; south on Route 10 to Perry's Auto Body at 7:35; proceeds north on Route 10 arriving at Rivendell Academy at 7:45; proceeds to Samuel Morey Elementary.
Bus No. 8 — Orford/Indian Pond Run: Starts at Indian Pond Road 7:20; picks up riders along the way and turns around at Norris Road; returns to Route 25 with pick ups; arrives at Rivendell Academy at 7:40; then proceeds to Samuel Morey Elementary.
Afternoon Routes
Bus No. 1: Departs the Academy at 2:50; arrives at Westshire Elementary at 3:10; departs Westshire at 3:15 and reverses morning run.
Bus No. 2: Departs the Academy at 2:50; arrives at Westshire Elementary at 3:10; departs Westshire at 3:15 and reverses morning run.
Bus No. 3: Arrives at Westshire Elementary at 3:10 and picks up children off Bus No. 2; departs at 3:15 and reverses morning run.
Bus No. 4: Departs the Academy at 2:50 p.m. and reverses the morning run.
Bus No. 5: Departs the Academy at 2:50 p.m. and reverses the morning run.
Bus No. 6: Departs the Academy at 2:50 p.m. and reverses the morning run.
Bus No. 7: Departs the Academy at 2:55 p.m. and reverses the morning run.
Bus No. 8: Departs the Academy at 2:50 p.m. and reverses the morning run.
Late Run: Bus leaves the Academy at 5:20; proceeds to Samuel Morey at 5:35; Westshire roughly 5:55, and Vershire town center dropping off students on Route 5, Route 113 and Route 244.
