Claremont Bus Routes
The following is a list of the bus routes for the Claremont School District. The bus stops are the same, unless noted. If you are new to the district, or don't know if your child qualifies for a bus, please call Louise Rosato at 543-4290.
Bus 2 — Washington Street Area
High School and Middle School Morning Run: 6:50, leave bus garage and head out to Washington Street, up Dump Hill and turn left onto Old Newport Road; 7:05, right onto East Green Mountain Road to St. Aubins house, turn around, right on Old Newport Road and up to Roberts Hill Road, turn; 7:15, head back towards Washington Street and pick up students along Washington Street; 7:20, arrive at Stevens High School, continue on to Claremont Middle School.
Disnard School Morning Run: 7:50 leave bus garage and head out to Washington Street, go up Dump Hill and turn left onto Old Newport Road; 8:05, right onto East Green Mountain Road to St. Aubins house, turn around, right onto Old Newport Road and up to Roberts Hill Road, turn; 8:15, head back towards Washington Street, turn right on Moody Avenue, right on Princeton Street, make the loop and go back out to Washington Street, turn right, go up Winter Street, turn into Claremont Arms. go through Arms to exit and stop; 8:25, arrive at Disnard School.
High School and Middle School Afternoon Run: 2:10, pick up students at SHS, then pick up students at CMS, head out Washington St Go up Dump Hill; 2:30. turn left on Old Newport Road, right on East Green Mountain Road, go to the top and turn around, head back to Old Newport Road, turn right and then right on Roberts Hill Road, turn around; 2:40, turn right and head out towards Washington Street, proceed to Disnard School.
Disnard School Afternoon Run: 3:10, leave Disnard School and head out to Washington Street, turn left on Winter Street, go into the Claremont Arms; 3:17, go back to Washington Street; 3:25, go up Dump Hill and turn left on Old Newport Road, turn right on East Green Mountain Road to the top and turn; 3:40, head back to East Green Mountain Road and up Roberts Hill Road, turn around and turn right on Washington Street, turn right onto Moody Avenue and right on Princeton and make the loop, go back to Washington Street and return to bus garage.
Bus 4 — Chestnut Street area and Sugar River Drive
High School and Middle School Morning Run: 6:45, leave bus garage and head out toward Chestnut Street, go out to Unity, turn around and head back to Puckershire Road, go down Puckershire Road to Case Hill Road; 7:00, go to the top past the trailer park and turn, go back to Sugar River Drive and turn right; 7:10, go out past the cornfield and turn around, head back and go out to Chestnut Street; 7:20, continue to SHS and CMS.
Maple Avenue School Morning Run: 7:45, leave bus garage and head out toward Chestnut Street, go to the Unity turnaround; 7:55, head back on Chestnut Street to Puckershire Road, turn right on Puckershire Road to Case Hill Road, go to the top and turn around; 8:05, go back to Sugar River Drive and turn right, go out past the cornfield and turn around; 8:10, head back to Chestnut Street, then to Maple Avenue school.
High School and Middle School Afternoon Run: 2:10, pick up students at SHS and then at CMS, head out Chestnut Street to the Unity turnaround; 2:17, head back on Chestnut Street to Puckershire, go down Puckershire Road to Case Hill Road; 2:25, head back to Sugar River Drive and turn right, go out past the cornfield and turn around; 2:30, head back to Chestnut Street and then to Maple Avenue School.
Maple Avenue School Afternoon Run: 3:10, leave Maple Avenue School and turn right, go through Draper's Corner, turn right on South Street and go out to Chestnut Street; 3:20, go to the Unity turnaround and back on Chestnut Street, turn right on Puckershire Road and right on Case Hill Road; 3:30, go to the top and turn, go back down and right on Sugar River Drive, go out past the corn field, turn and head back to Chestnut Street, return to the bus garage.
Bus 5 — Bible Hill and Charlestown Road area
High School and Middle School Morning Run: 6:50, leave bus garage and head out towards Bible Hill, go to the top and turn onto Piper Hill Road; 7, turn right on Charlestown Road, right on Glenwood Drive, turn left onto Hardwood Lane, right on Ledgewood Road; 7:10, right on Cindy Avenue, turn around, go back out toward Charlestown Road, turn right, proceed to SHS and CMS.

Maple Avenue Afternoon Run: 3:10, pick up students at Maple Avenue School, head out to Charlestown Road, turn right; 3:15, turn left on Glenwood Drive then left on Hardwood Lane, turn right on Ledgewood Road, right on Cindy Avenue; 3:20, turn around and head back to Charlestown Road, turn left, turn left onto Piper Hill and left on Bible Hill; 3:35, go to the bottom of Bible Hill and then return to the bus garage.
Bus 6 — Elm Street Sullivan Street on H.S. Broad Street Mullberry Street on Maple Avenue
High School and Middle School Morning Run: 7, leave bus garage and go up Elm Street, stop across from Jiffy Mart and then across from the stump near the hospital, stop at Alderwood Court; 7:10, turn left on Thrasher Road and left on Bowker Street, turn left on Main Street and right on Citizens; 7:15, go left on Twistback Road to the end, turn left onto Sullivan Street; 7:20, head towards SHS and then to CMS.
Maple Avenue School Morning Run: 7:55, leave bus garage and head toward Mulberry Street, go past the cemetery and turn left on West Pleasant Street; 8:05, go to Summer Street, turn right, go left on Broad Street, go to the Karate Studio and turn at the lights, head back up Broad Street around the park and up to South Street; 8:15, turn right onto South Street then left onto Pleasant Street, go through Draper's Corner down Maple Avenue to River Road; 8:20, turn right on Ainsworth Road and left back onto River Road, go out to CSI and turn around, head back to Maple Avenue and to the school.
High School and Middle School Afternoon Run: 2:10, pick up students at SHS and then pick up students at CMS, head out to Sullivan Street, turn right on Twistback Road; 2:20, right on Citizens Street and left on Main Street, right on Bowker Street then right on Thrasher Road; 2:25, turn right on Elm Street and head to St. Mary's School.
Maple Avenue School Afternoon Run: 3, pick up students at St. Mary's School and head out to Maple Avenue; 3:10, leave Maple Avenue School and turn left, go out to River Road, turn around at CSI; 3:20, go back to Maple Avenue and turn right, go through Draper's Corner and stay on Pleasant Street; 3:30, turn right on South Street and left on Broad Street, go to the Karate Studio, turn at lights and go back up Broad Street; 3:35, turn right on Summer Street and left on Pleasant Street, turn Right on Mullberry Street and head back to the bus garage.
Bus 7 — Jarvis Hill River Road on H.S. Bluff School area
High School and Middle School Morning Run: 6:55, leave bus garage and head towards Citizens Street, go right on Twistback to Old Church Road, turn right on Ellis Lane and right on Plains Road; 7:05, go Left on Half Mile Road and left on Jarvis Hill, turn left on Ainsworth Road; 7:15, head back to Maple Avenue, proceed up Maple Avenue and go to SHS and then CMS.
Bluff School Morning Run: 7:55, leave bus garage and head toward Plains Road, turn right on Half Mile Road, left on Jarvis Hill, head to RR Junction and stay on Plains Road; 8:05, turn right on Ellis Lane and left on Twistback Road, Head down Twistback Road to Citizens Street, left on Beauregard Street, left on Potvin Street, left on Cedar Street; 8:15, left on Twistback to the end and right on Lonsdale Avenue, left on Girard Avenue and left on Providence Avenue; 8:20, right on Sullivan Street and head to Bluff School.
High School and Middle School Afternoon Run: 2:10, pick up students at SHS and then pick up students at CMS, head out to Maple Avenue and turn left on River Road; 2:20, turn right on Ainsworth Road and right on Jarvis Hill Road, turn right on Half Mile Road then right on Plains Road; 2:30, turn left on Ellis Lane and left on Old Church Road, go down Twistback Road onto Citizens Street, head to Bluff School.
Bluff School Afternoon Run: 3:10, leave Bluff School and head out Sullivan Street, turn left on Providence Avenue and right on Girard Avenue, turn right on Lonsdale Avenue and left on Sullivan Street; 3:15, turn right on Twistback Road, right on Citizens Street, left on Beauregard Street, left on Potvin Street, left on Cedar Street; 3:25, right on Twistback Road to Old Church Road, right on Ellis Lane and right on Plains Road; 3:30, left on Half Mile Road and left on Jarvis Hill, turn around and head back to bus garage.
Bus 8 — Paddy Hollow and 12A
High School and Middle School Morning Run: 6:45, leave bus garage and go on Main Street toward Coke plant, turn up Bowker Street to Clay Hill and turn left (the bridge is now open); 6:50, go up Paddy Hollow Road and turn where it meets Windy Hill Road, head back down Paddy Hollow to Clay Hill Road, turn right, right onto Bonmark Drive; 7:05, turn at the top of Bonmark and head out to Main Street, turn right, go out to 12A and turn right, go to Windy Hill Road, turn around; 7:15, head back to Main Street and proceed to SHS and CMS.
Disnard School Morning Run: 7:45, leave bus garage and head down Main Street toward Coke plant, turn up Bowker Street to Clay Hill and turn left (the bridge is now open); 7:50, go up Paddy Hollow Road and turn around at Zullo Farm, head back to Clay Hill Road and turn right, right onto Bonmark Drive; 8:05, turn at the top of Bonmark and head out to Main Street and turn right, go out to 12A and turn right, go to Windy Hill Road and turn around; 8:15, head back to Main Street and then to Disnard School.
High School and Middle School Afternoon Run: 2:10, pick up students at SHS and then pick up students at CMS, go out to Main Street to 12A and turn at Windy Hill Road, go back to Main Street and turn left on Clay Hill Road, go up Bonmark Drive and turn around; 2:20, turn left on Clay Hill Road and left on Paddy Hollow Road, turn at the end of Paddy Hollow, go back to Clay Hill Road and turn left, turn right on Bowker Street; 2:40, head to St. Mary's School.
Disnard School Afternoon Run: 3:10, leave Disnard School and head to Main Street, stop at Home Town Deli and head out to 12A; 3:20, turn right on 12A to Windy Hill Road and turn, go back to Main Street and turn left on Clay Hill Road; 3:30, go to top of Bonmark Drive and turn, turn left on Clay Hill Road and left on Paddy Hollow Road, go to Windy Hill Rd and turn around; 3:40, turn left on Clay Hill and right on Bowker Street, head back to the bus garage.
Bus 9 — Red Water Brook Green Mountain area
High School and Middle School Morning Run: 6:30, leave bus garage and head toward Red Water Brook Road, stay on Red Water Brook Road all the way to Route 120, turn left and then right on White Water Brook Road, turn around and back to 120; 6:50, turn left on Route 120 and then left onto Winter Street, turn left onto Veterans Park and left on Slab City Road; 7:05, continue on to Thrasher Road, at the end, turn right on Route 120, go left onto Elm Street; 7:15, left onto Thrasher Road and right on Route 120, head to SHS and then to CMS.
Disnard School Morning Run: 7:35, leave bus garage and head to Red Water Brook Road, stay on Red Water Brook Road all the way to Route 120, turn left and then right on White Water Brook Road, turn around and back to 120; 7:55, turn left on 120 and then left onto Winter Street Exit, turn left onto Veterans Park and left on Slab City Road; 8:10, continue on to Thrasher Road, at the end, turn right on Route 120, go left onto Elm Street; 8:20, head toward Disnard School.
High School and Middle School Afternoon Run: 2:10, pick up students at SHS and then pick up students at CMS, go up Hanover Street past the NHTC; 2:20, turn left onto Elm Street, turn right onto Thrasher Road; 2:30, turn right onto Red Water Brook Road and head to 120, turn onto White Water Brook Road and turn around; 2:40, get back on 120 and turn left onto Winter Street, turn left onto Veterans Park Road; 2:50, turn left onto Slab City Road, turn left onto 120 and proceed to Disnard School.
Disnard School Afternoon Run: 3:10, leave Disnard School and head to Elm Street, turn left on Thrasher Road, turn right on Red Water Brook Road to the end; 3:20, turn left and then right on White Water Brook Road and turn around, turn left on Route 120, go left onto Winter Street; 3:25, turn left on Veterans Park and left on Slab City Road; 3:40, proceed to Thrasher Road, turn right on Route 120, turn left on Elm Street, return to the bus garage.
