Kimball Union Academy is a picturesque, rural private high school campus located just off Route 120 in Meriden.
Also in Meriden, just west of KUA, is a small covered bridge with a popular swimming hole just below it.
On Route 12A is the Plainfield Town Hall, which has a stage backdrop created by Maxfield Parish in 1916. It’s open for viewing from 1 to 5 p.m. each Sunday in the summer.
