Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park: Opened in 1992, the park tells the story of land conservation and stewardship. Park is adjacent to Billings Farm & Museum, which features exhibits of 19th-century Vermont farming, restored and furnished 1890 farmhouse and working dairy farm. Open May to October; 457-2355.
Pentangle Council on the Arts: Presents music, theater, dance, family events and movies in the Woodstock Town Hall Theatre, a 400-seat historic theater renovated in 1988. 457-3981
The Little Theater, a 150-seat performance space in an old mill building on the Ottauquechee, hosts Pentangle's Coffee House Concerts and the New Woolhouse Players, a community theater company. 457-3981
Woodstock Historical Society: In the 1807 Dana House, the society features furnishings from 1740 to 1900, a library, photographs, dolls, toys and costumes, also exhibits and lectures. May to October, Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. 457-1822.
