Places of Interest
Enfield Shaker Museum: Route 4A, includes Shaker buildings, herb gardens and a museum of Shaker artifacts. Call 632-4346.
Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette: The La Salette order of Catholic missionaries took over the former Shaker community in 1927. La Salette offers a Christmas lighting display.
Mascoma Lake and Crystal Lake offer boating and fishing, with public boat launches on both lakes. Nonresident permits for the town beach on Mascoma Lake can be purchased at Town Hall.
Enfield Wildlife Management Area: The state-owned wildlife area on Bog Road has hiking trails and a pond.
Bicknell Brook Trail: Just off Grafton Pond Road, interpretive trail with easy 45-minute stroll featuring approximately 60 designated places with identified shrubs and other wildlife.
