Billings Farm & Museum: Features exhibits of 19th-century Vermont farming, including a restored and furnished 1890 farmhouse and working dairy farm. Open May-October; (802) 457-2355.
Vermont Institute Of Natural Science And Raptor Center: A nonprofit, statewide educational and environmental research resource center. There's a natural history library and a 77-acre nature preserve with self-guided nature trails, bird banding, lectures and trips. The Vermont Raptor Center is a living museum and rehabilitation facility for more than 40 birds of prey. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. year round, except closed on Sundays during the winter. (802) 457-2779.
Pentangle Council On The Arts: Presents music, theater, dance, family events and movies in the Wood-stock Town Hall Theater, a 400-seat historic theater renovated in 1988.
The Little Theater, an intimate, 150-seat performance space in an old mill building on the Ottauquechee, hosts Pentangle's Coffee House Concerts and the New Woolhouse Players, a community theater company. (802) 457-3981
Woodstock Historical Society: In the 1807 Dana House, the society features furnishings from 1740 to 1900, a library, photographs, dolls, toys and costumes. Exhibits and a lecture series. Open May-October, Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. (802) 457-1822.
