Montshire Museum of Science: Offers hands-on educational programs, classes and exhibits plus 100 acres of walking trails. It is located on Montshire Road next to the Connecticut River. There is a fee of $5 for adults, $4 for children age 3-17. (802) 649-2200.

Located in Norwich village, Emerson House, where the post office is currently located, and Burton House were built in the mid-1800s. They were renovated, and a third house, Hunter House, was added about three years ago. The three buildings now house several shops and businesses.
