The Meadows Drive-In Theater is one of the last outdoor-movie facilities in the state. It is located off Route 10 in Woodsville Village on Route 135.

The Haverhill Historical Society: The society's displays are open on the fourth Sunday of the month during the summer, on special occasions, or by appointment. Dick Eckman is president.

The Haverhill-Bath Covered Bridge is the oldest documented covered bridge in the country, constructed in 1829. It's just off Central Street in Woodsville Village.

The Oliverian Valley Wildlife Preserve in East Haverhill offers 24 campsites, fishing, self-guided tours of marsh, field and forest, and a wildlife habitat demonstration trail. Phone: (603) 989-3351.

Bedell Bridge State Park is located on the Connecticut River off Route 10 near the village of Haverhill Corner. A small-boat/canoe launch is available and the area abounds with wildlife and includes a large picnic area.

Richard G. Kinder Memorial Forest, off Briar Hill Road near North Haverhill Village, has a series of walking trails and displays of flora and fauna. It also has cross-country ski trails. Blackmount Country Club is the town's 9-hole golf course and driving range on Clark Pond Road in North Haverhill; (603) 787-6564.

North Haverhill Fairgrounds is the location of a fair held every year in late July. Grounds also available for other events. For information, call (603) 787-6696.
