The Appalachian Trail passes through town and the Dartmouth Outing Club maintains hundreds of miles of trails and can supply maps. (603) 646-2428. The Hanover Conservation Commission has maps for town trails available at the town offices.
Storrs Pond recreation area is owned by the Hanover Improvement Society and offers a swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic tables and other facilities. Swimming and tennis lessons are also available during the summer months. For information call (603) 643-2134.
