Fairlee's greatest asset is its lakes, Morey and Fairlee. Visitors usually stay at one of the inns or campgrounds surrounding the lakes. The biggest, the Lake Morey Inn, offers convention facilities, golf, swimming and tennis.
The town also hosts a concentration of antiques stores, including the Conval Antique Mall, Barry Lebarron Antiques and Vollbrecht Antiques, located along Route 5.
