Peavine Park: On the White River, it's a pleasant place to picnic and relax just beyond the railroad underpass at the south end of the village.

National Fish Hatchery: On Route 107 west, largest fish hatchery in the East. Trout, salmon eggs and young fish. Open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, tours available.

Recreation area: On Pleasant Street (Route 12 north). Facilities include a swimming pool, tennis courts and playground.
