Grantham — Katrina Mudd Sprague and Justin Samuel Fantl were married on July 29, 2017, at the bride’s family home in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Maxim Fantl, the bridegroom’s cousin, officiated at the ceremony. The bride’s sister Jessica Sprague was the matron of honor. Caryll Sprague Knapp and Marina Sprague, also sisters of the bride, were the bridesmaids. Isaac Kasper was the best man. Benjamin Sprague, the bride’s brother, and Jon Snyder were the groomsmen. The bride’s nieces, Vesper Anderson and Esther Knapp, were the flower girls. The bride’s nephews, Elias Sprague and Cooper Knapp, were the ring bearers. 

The bride wore a white sleeveless gown with a deep-v neckline and hand-sewn lace paired with a delicate veil. The bridegroom wore a navy blue suit. The bride’s sister, Cedar Anderson, did a reading at the ceremony. A reception followed in the garden of the home.

The bride is the daughter of Marianne Morrow Sprague, of Santa Barbara, and the late Norman F. Sprague. She graduated from The Cate School in Carpinteria, Calif., in 2005 and earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, in 2009. She is employed as the director of annual giving at Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles.

The bridegroom is the son of Heddy L. and Theodore Fantl, of Grantham. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1998 and earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., in 2002. He earned a master’s of fine arts in photography from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Calif., in 2008 and is employed as a commercial and editorial photographer, represented by Giant Artists, in Los Angeles.

The couple plan a honeymoon in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia at a later date and live in Marina Del Rey, Calif.
