Quechee — Alison R. Hunt and Gregory W. McKenney were married on July 15, 2017, at the Congregational Church in Middlebury, Vt.

The Rev. Dr. Stephanie Allen officiated at the ceremony. Emily Fuller was the matron of honor. Jill McKenney, Caitrin Alb and Elizabeth Thacker were the bridesmaids. Sean Aubin was the best man. David Fuller, Logan Bessette and Kyle Garcia were the groomsmen. The bride’s nephews, Peter Fuller and Benjamin Fuller, were the ring bearer and guestbook attendant, respectively.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Robert Hunt as Jeffrey Buttoner played Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel.

She wore a sleeveless organza white gown with a V-line bodice featuring a flowing layered skirt of lace and a semi-cathedral length train, complimented by a cathedral length veil with Alencon lace. A delicate gold leaf belt accented the waist. The bride also wore a necklace from her maternal grandmother and carried a bouquet of cascading white roses with limonium and ivy. The bridegroom and ushers wore linen suits.

A reception followed at the Lilac Inn in Brandon, Vt.

The bride is the daughter of Julia Harris and Donald Hunt, of Middlebury. She graduated from Middlebury Union High School and Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. She earned a master’s degree in mental health counseling and art therapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va., and is employed as a licensed clinical mental health counselor and art therapist in Woodstock.

The bridegroom is the son of Karleen and Gary McKenney, of White River Junction. He graduated from Hartford High School and Norwich University in Northfield, Vt. He is employed as a civil engineer at Willis Engineering in Woodstock.

The couple honeymooned in Maine and live in Quechee.
