Articles of note: An article proposes to transfer $180,000 from a budget surplus of $420,000 to a tuition reserve fund. Voters will also consider transferring $200,000 from the same surplus to a capital improvement fund. 

Contested races: There are no contested races

Budget and spending articles: The proposed operating budget is $4.1 million, which is an increase from last year’s $3.7 million. The board in January approved a budget of $4.2 million, which was later rescinded to make spending cuts. 

When, where and how to vote: An informational meeting will be held on Saturday, April 13, at 10 a.m. at the Strafford Town House and online at: meet.google.com/cjb-bfga-hxg. Ballot voting is scheduled to take place at the Strafford Town Office on Monday, April 15. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
