The Christmas spirit is alive in the Upper Valley and everyone’s favorite elf is in town. Santa has already been spotted around the Upper Valley, but in case you missed him, here are some future scheduled appearances.

Wassail Weekend in Woodstock

Woodstock’s 33rd annual Wassail Weekend features twinkling lights, decorated historic homes, concerts, a craft fair, holiday house tours, breakfast with Santa, a wassail parade and more. 802-457-3555.

Christmas Festivities in Orford

Dec. 10, 2 p.m.

 

United Congregational Church of Orford, 617 Route 10.

 

Santa Claus, holiday activities and refreshments will be followed by a potluck at 5 p.m., a pageant at 6 p.m. and lighting of the Memory Tree at 6:30. Call to purchase a bulb for a loved one ($5 each). 603-353-9422.

“Polar Express” Party in Wells River

Dec. 15, 6:30 p.m.

Pulaski Masonic Lodge No. 58, 37 Main St.

 

Each year, a different community member reads the classic children’s book The Polar Express, with sound effects provided. Includes an appearance by Santa, along with cookies and cocoa for all. Free. Hosted by Baldwin Memorial Library. Call 802-757-2693 for more information.

 

 

Pancake Breakfast in Norwich

Real maple syrup, eggs, sausage, coffee, tea, juice and a special appearance by Santa. Hosted by Mascoma Savings Bank as part of the 19 Days of Norwich and Beyond to benefit the Upper Valley Haven. Donations accepted. 802-649-1950.

Breakfast With Santa in Bradford, Vt.

Dec. 16, 8-10 a.m.
