WINDSOR — Voters in the two-town Mount Ascutney School District approved a $14.8 million operating budget at the polls on Tuesday.

The budget, which Windsor and West Windsor voters approved 305-214, is up from last year’s $13.7 million, but below the $15.5 million the board initially warned in January, which it later rescinded to make spending cuts.

There are 1,045 registered voters in West Windsor and 2,696 in Windsor.
