Highlights: Hanover placed five athletes in the top nine in a strong team showing. Mielcarz had a strong showing for the Raiders, tailing the second-place girl by only 4.5 points.

Highlights: Hanover began the game on a 16-3 run followed by a 13-3 run by Milford, ending in a 19-16 Hanover lead at the half. Better ball movement, more patience and strong rebounding resulted in a 33-22 second half Hanover advantage.

Highlights: It was a close game throughout. Randolph outscored Thetford 13-9 in the fourth quarter to secure victory.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Lebanon 1, Berlin 0

Key players: Lebanon — Biff Maher (one goal), Andy Lindquist (six saves); Berlin — Olivia O’Neil (24 saves)

Highlights: Maher scored the game’s only goal by following her rebound on a breakaway with just under four minutes to go in the second period. Lebanon allowed just one shot on goal in the third period. The Mountaineers lost their third straight after an 11-0 start to the year.

Hartford 4, U-32 2

Key players: Hartford — Braelyn Park, Madison Barwood, Carsyn Weglarz

Highlights: Hurricanes came out flat and had to catch up all but the last five minutes of the game, when Park scored the go-ahead goal on a delayed penalty call. When U-32 pulled the goalie, Hartford put up the fourth and final goal into the empty net.

Highlights: Windham scored two goals in final five minutes to break open a tight-checking scoreless tie. The loss ended a six-game winning streak for the Bears.
