Highlights: The second-seeded Panthers opened up the VPA Division III tournament with the kind of second-half defense that “was more our style of play, and we started passing the ball faster,” according to coach Jason Gray. Thetford will host either No. 7 BFA-Fairfax or No. 10 Green Mountain in a Saturday afternoon quarterfinal. No. 15 Oxbow graduates four, including Corti.
