BOYS INDOOR TRACK

Hartford boys win DII indoor track championship

Key players: Hartford — Ayo Lowe (first in high jump), Gabe Guillette (first in 300-meter race at 37.66), Bennett Moreno (first in the 600-meter race)

Highlights: 4x200m relay Hewitt, Bessette, Guillette and Lowe 1st in a time of 1:39.53 4x400m team of Fournier-Stephens,Bessette,Guillette and Moreno 1st place in a time of 3:46.95 4x800m team of Fournier-Stephens,Wendling,Knapp and Moreno 2nd place 9:11.28

GIRLS HOCKEY

South Burlington 3, Hartford 0

Key players: South Burlington — Taylor Tobrocke, Sabrina Brunet, Hadia Ahmed Hartford — Braelyn Park, Nella Bowen

Highlights: Brunet had the only goal in the first period and teams were fairly weel-matched considering South Burlington was down a handful of players. Ahmed scored with eight minutes remaining in the third period and after Hartford pulled goalkeeper Bowen, Brunet struck the empty net.
