Woodstock 61, Rivendell 53

Key players: Woodstock — Elvis Lavallee (22 points), Ezra Lockhart (15 points), Caeden Perreault (12 points); Rivendell — Jacoby Patterson (16 points)

Highlights: Rivendell raced out to an early lead and led by four points at half thanks to hot shooting and offensive boards. Woodstock turned the tables in the second half, shooting 60% and competing on the boards.

Lebanon places fourth in 11-team meet

Key players: Lebanon — Peyton Rutherford (5th slalom, 11th giant slalom), Marin Pearson (13th in slalom, 13th GS), Olivia Cook (18th GS)

Highlights: Lebanon’s score of 653 earns the team a fourth-place finish inthe 11-team meet. Hopkinton won the meet with a team score of 750.

Coach’s quote: “This was a good measure of the upcoming state meet. Peyton Rutherford is skiing great and should qualify for Meet of Champions, Marin Pearson is just outside the top 10, so with an inspired performance, she could qualify for MOC. BOYS ALPINE SKIING

Lebanon skis through adversity in DIII meet

Key player: Lebanon — James Barnett (14th slalom)

Highlights: Lebanon earns a team score of 570, placing seventh in the 12-team meet. Hopkinton places first with a score of 740.

Coach’s quote: “Pre-states featured most of the DIII teams so it was a good measure of the upcoming state meet. My number 1 and 2 boys had falls, we need to focus on completing four runs to get a good team placing and get James Barnett or Abe Pearson into the top 10.” — Lebanon’s Michael Anikis

BOYS HOCKEY

Lebanon 4, Kearsarge 3

Key players: Lebanon — Paddy Mooney with a goal and assist. Keegan Dannehy played rock solid D and made great decisions.

Highlights: Down 3-1, the Raiders scored three unanswered, all from the three seniors: Mooney, Tyler Christian (from Mason Ballard) and Jack Clary. Ben Benes scored the Raiders’ first goal on a beautiful pass from Mooney.

Coach’s quote: “After a tough loss, the boys got right back to work. They were focused and brought a lot of energy to all three practices this week. It’s a high character group and it showed as they came back from two goals down to a very good opponent.” — Lebanon’s Dean Cashman

GIRLS HOCKEY

Hanover 9, Bedford 0

Key players: Hanover — Nora Bradley, Maeve Lee, Hannah Gardner, Rachel Rockmore, Faith Lindsay, Rory Seelig, Casey Wilkinson and Eleanor Edson all had goals. Bedford — Alex Bobar (55 saves)

Highlights: Edson got her first career goal and J.J. Masland recorded her second shutout of the season.
