Hartland — Police are investigating after a 48-year-old Vermont man was found dead inside a vehicle at the Hartland park and ride at the Interstate 91 interchange with Route 5 in Hartland.

David L. Valenti, of Milton, Vt., was found dead inside a vehicle after a concerned citizen reported the situation to police, according to a Vermont State Police news release.

The cause and manner of Valenti’s death is under investigation. At this time, police say no foul play is suspected.

“Valenti’s body was sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Burlington for autopsy,” the release said. “The Windsor County State’s Attorney’s Office was notified and assisted in the investigation.”
