Dartmouth Board Acted Reasonably

The doors were closed earlier this month when Dartmouth trustees declined to reappoint Todd Zywicki to the board, and the participants aren't now offering any explanations for their decision. Those circumstances serve as an open invitation to Zywicki and his supporters to assume the worst. They are doing exactly that by publicly characterizing the board's decision as the stifling of free speech. But make no mistake, Zywicki had handed the board a perfectly legitimate reason for not granting him a new term, and the board was well within its rights to exercise it. See full story

Newport, N.H. -- Aaron Aldridge, a radio talk show host from Newport wanted in New Hampshire on child pornography charges, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by the California Highway Patrol near the Nevada border, according to a police report.
